So in the space of 24 hours, I'll of been on three "dates." They are "dates," and not dates, simply because not all three are romantic in nature. Not mostly, anyway. Maybe some flirting went on. Maybe. That's the thing with flirting, in can mean something or nothing at all.

Last night there was some definite flirting going on: the kind that rouses hormones and tickles the ghost of purpose.

Today at three there will be Bubble Tea with an old friend. I haven't seen her in...7 years. Yikes. We had crushes on each other back in the day, but we've both changed sooo much that that might mean nothing in the here in now. So this is more like a "catching up date" than a "datedate."

In the evening there will be sports movies with someone who I have been told is crushing on me. She, however, is one of those polyamorous types, and I'm not interested in finding myself in another drama ridden situation, so I'll just give that potential mate a miss.

In other news, I start at the Clinic on Thursday, and I hope it'll be awesome. Seems like it should be. I love my old job, and I'll continue working on-call there, but having a stable income is pretty important nowadays. Also: insurance that automatically covers massage and acupunture.

So my new "plans" have been whittled down to two, count 'em, two possible courses: wait until my check comes from Japan and then packup and move to Austlaria to see if anything comes of living near/with Senorita Ballerina.

Work for a while at the Clinic, save up many monies, and then get accepted into PeaceCorps and go to Africa. I'll be that much closer to Zanzibar! And Kenya!
