I had a friend (read- person who seeks me out as often as I seek out them) tell me I should get over being single. I thought about it awhile and decided that she was wrong.
Most people have multiple persons to talk to about the stuff they need to. Family; close friends; diaries. Me, I talk to just the one person, my mate.
I tried opening up to everyone I considered friend, but that didn't work out. Most people just don't care. Or don't have time, or would rather you keep your mouth shut. Most people just want filler.

I promise to be a better friend. I know I don't seek you out very much and I'm sorry about that. Don't take the last few weeks personally as I have been totally dead sick. Also, I really enjoy talking to you!! Sometimes we bake pies together and they turn out really bad but I have lots of fun anyway because we get to talk about girls and life and things. I like all of that to talk with you. My feet are cold. Always.
