Went on a lovely little ramble up and down Castle Crag last week! This is in the North Western Fells of the Lake District. Its so tough to choose where to go in the Lake District because all of it is so beautiful! But this is a really nice route for all levels of hiking!
Edit: i forgot to mention there is a World War 1 memorial at the summit, its in remembrance of Borrowdale men lost in the war.
If you havnt been i would reccomend this area of England to anyone! Especially if you're into camping, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, climbing, fell running and pretty much most outdoor stuff haha. As well as all the beautiful flora and fauna and not to mention all the lovely little towns and villages!
It really is one of my favourite areas of England!
