Update time!
It's all so quiet. shhh.... shhh...
My house, which is usually filled with 5 screaming girls and 4 incredibly noisy guys along with various boyfriends, girlfriends and friends has been almost completely abandoned since Sunday. There's just me and one other girl left, and she seems to want to spend all day driving round scrapyards on some kind of bizarre mission. Jev (the bloke) is in Poland with some other photographers taking pictures of Auschwitz and the like and all my other friends seem to be either on holiday or working on their final projects.
It's pretty boring in the land of Kas at the moment.
So, to alleviate the tedium, I have been:
. Revising. In the stupid bristol ASS (Arts and Social Sciences) library, where my reading is continually disrupted by mobile phones going off, drilling (!?) and even some chick with headphones in singing tunelessly along to Savage Garden. Savage Fucking Garden. Argh!
. Playing with Weebl and Bob, my housemate's tiny little hamsters, which I'm looking after at the moment. They're so tame that if you put your hand in their cage, they climb onto it. They also make funny little noises if you walk past and don't play with them. They're adorable.
. Reading Diesel Sweeties and the Snakes on a Plane webcomic. My capacity for procrastination is limitless.
. Been out for a drink with TheDuke. I was obviously in offensive drunk mode, as when I came home I spent the rest of the night abusing my housemate's friend's haircut. Luckily The Duke is awesome, so I don't think he took offense at anything i said, and I got to know him better, which was cool.
. Splashing in puddles in the wellies Jev bought me for Christmas.
. Listening to very loud music and not offending anyone.
So, all in all, it's not been a bad few days, but I can't wait for everyone to get back.
Thank you to anyone who made it through this boring load of crap. Soon I'm going to have something very interesting to write about in my journal, hopefully with lots of pictures.
