Random car schpeel from me...my obsession with Hondas and building
Granted, while i dont know everything about a motor, or tuning, i know a lot, and it annoys me to no end seeing tire biters lurking, waiting for some innocent men/man to leach on and drain financially (or try lol)
I rebuilt and resealed my motor on my 99-00 civic (EK sedan), did a manual convert (switched it from a auto transmission to a manual trans) and sold that car within a few weeks of her running, and i miss her terribly.
I grew up around cars. I was adopted by my aunt and uncle, and my uncle is VERY OEM and he restores classics. I kinddddd of went the opposite direction, and I modify them, heavily. Then about 5-6 years ago, i found my biological father, and low and behold, he also builds cars and owns a shop!!! So you can say its in my blood.
Currently, i have an 02 civic of which just the other day, did a motor swap in since the previous motor blew up, and i put a VTEC motor in. Funny story, my first test drive of the new motor, i ran the shit out of it, and managed to pop my CV axle out....But with amazing friends, got off the road, popped it back in and got home. My goals for that car is to get my show parts out of the shop when i have the money, eventually bag it (air ride, you know, switches get ..welll yea lol) Dress up the engine bay, shave it, and maybe redo the interior and find an auto matic doggo fur cleaner lol.
I daily an 01 accord, for now, and it needs a little work for me to get it where i want it. Headlight housings, LED headlights, re-powder coat my wheels, re-tint my windows and in channel visors.
I hope in the next year to have a race or drift car and have learned how to handle it on the track. One day at a time i know, i still have to adult and keep bills paid, and stop day dreaming of the next project car....
