Today was the coolest sick day EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! My head is spinning too much to write about it very coherently at the moment (curse you,Nyquil...CURSE YOU!!!!) but long story short, I got REALLY lost on the way to a Comic Con in downtown LA, and wound up in Hollywood instead...I ended up taking my son to that road in front of that big Chinese theatre place (I think it might be called Hollywood Blvd., but I'm not sure) and we made our own mini-comic con instead...We found a trajillion badass comic/sci-fi related things to do...Including befriending all those street performers who hang out on that street dressed as comic book heroes and shit...I totally had a blast kicking Superman and Spider-Man's ass for the tourist type folks(FYI, not only did I KICK both their asses, but I totally goosed 'em, too!!! Couldn't resist the spandex tights...hehe...Scared the shit outta them when I did it, too!! SO FUNNY!!
)...Superman got me back, though, when I posed for a pic w/him w/my Superman Thong hanging out over my jeans...He was completely, blatantly grabbing my ass!!! It's the funniest thing ever that I'm posing w/ this serious, stoic-looking Superman dude, yet he's totally coppin' a feel!!! (Pic coming soon...He took it on his cam, and has to email it to me!! ) Anyway...I know none of that is going to sound as fun to you as it actually was, but trust me...It was the funnest faux comic con ever!! And the funnest sick day ever!!
Oh!! And next weekend I am totally going to go down there and hang w/the Superhero peeps on that Hollywood Chinese-y road...They all pose w/people for $$, but I just want to do it for fun!!! I posed w/ a bunch of tourist-y types in my normal comic geek wear (WW shirt and cuffs, Superman thong w/super low-rise jeans. jic you were wondering) and had a blast!! I can't imagine how much fun it'll be to be out there in my full-out Elektra or Wonder Woman ensemble!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!! Come see me and say hi if you live nearby!! (I'm going Sat. afternoon, I think...after I get out of this BADASS bo staff/sword seminar I'm going to...You guys should come to that if you can, too!!! That way I can kick all of your asses, ninja style!! hehe )
Oh, and one last non-coherent thing...Check out this badass shirt I bought while I was at that Hollywood place...I'm not much of a shopper, but I saw this in the window and HAD to have it...it's SOOOOOOO me!!! Check it out:
