Talked to my Dr. about my recent weight gain since my divorce (about 40 lbs)

PLAN OF ACTION

stopping birth control pills and getting an IUD

stopping prozac and switching to Wellbutrin

walking 20 minutes 4 times a week

Dr says if that doesn't help he'll prescribe me weight-loss pills ( I told him I had made myself throw up a few times after binge eating)

Also

Quitting drinking for a few months (with the help of antabuse)

sticking to a 95% Vegan diet (It's almost impossible not to cheat on weekends at least once with Brandon around)

I can't believe I didn't go to the Dr. sooner! I was sure he'd say, eat clean and exercise lol. but he said don't join a gym, just do something I like that I will stick too to raise my metabolism

I'm going to second the walking thing that FiremanIRFD said - once you get going, you'll find that 20 minutes blows by quickly. Especially if you can find someone that you can chat with while walking, or a playlist of music you can get lost in.

It's much more important to make small doable changes versus forcing yourself to go to the gym and then it not working out well. The IUD should be better than taking pills since your body isn't exposed to as many hormones and the hormones are released where they are needed. Wellbutrin is known for making people energetic and causing some weight loss, so that will definitely help too.
