Bought a car, a little accent, you know you're old and practical when : you buy a hatchback because its almost a grand cheaper and it will fit your cat traps better. And you squeal with delight when you see you're getting 43 mpg on the eco setting. lol.

also put up a canopy and filling up a little above ground pool
all that's left is to plant stuff on the garden side! BBQ, pool, shade, firepit. It's going to be a good summer.

he kept worrying that I was going to get heat stroke or something. I had to let him know that my dad raised me as a boy and that this was not the first pile of whatever that I had help shovel and wheel into a backyard lol. SO SWEET TO ME though.

The key to not getting heat stroke is drinking mint juleps under the canopy. Or so I hear.
