snatched cluck norris from the woodpile last night in the dark (an adventure in itself) he let me cut the tether off his foot, soak his feet in oil (to try and smother the mites jacking up his feet) bathe him, and then he sat on my lap a bit. He's getting more trusting!
The bf and I discussed that it's best if he sleeps inside at night (maybe he won't crow if we keep him in a dark cage?) so I'm building him a little indoor roost. He's a silkie, so his soft fine feathers are getting jacked up with burrs and what not that I had to pick out.
I LOVE his eating sound lol
any poultry types know if this is scaley leg? he's missing nails on 2 of his toes
and his feet are all lumpy and deformed.
