Hurrah. I am done with the final draft of the first issue of Maul (working title) and now I can update without guilt. Tonight I am going to protest an expansion to the Wal Mart in the next town over and afterwards go to the Festival of the Pants. Pictures will be posted.
I have been reading the Oz books lately, after watching the movie again for the first time in years. I needed something light. Noam Chomsky can wear a person out.
In much sadder news, a very close friend of my parents has died. I don't know how to feel, honestly. I am sad but it seems like it's not quite enough. I did not know the man very well, having only met him maybe 5 times in the last ten years. What is really tragic is that the only member of his family who was at home when he had his heart attack was his 16 year old son. That is really depressing.
Anyway, I am going to go chase my niece around for a little while before I head out. Be well everybody.
