Same with most things these days, don’t cherry pick the parts that offend you, listen to all of it. And how dare you be offended on someone else’s behalf. Support, empathise, help and encourage. But the moment you feel offended for someone else, you’re making them a victim.
Don’t do it.
Don’t ever be offended on my behalf. Or anyone else’s.
And if they ask you to be, offfer support, not pity.
