been a long time since i posted. not for lack of things happening, but i find myself reluctant to cast my thoughts on the ether. then i remember that i want to write and be read, so i guess i better get over it, eh? well, a few thoughts then:

-come home from this little away period in about two days. can't wait. there is something wonderful in the act of coming home, though it loses its romance once i get there. once i get home, i can't wait to leave. fucking tragic.

-miss the rose. this madness about only talking through email while i have been away is ridiculous. i have to find an answer to this, but that's a fallacy. the only thing there is is patience, memory and love, like a fire in the room.

-i don't know when i became a fitness freak, and i don't think i've totally converted, but i thank the powers that be for making it happen. the rose deserves it, i think.

-the story i was writing is done, but i am not happy with it, and i don't think i ever will be. not sure if it captures the feeling and the idea that i was trying to convey. but hey, what the hell, i will talk to someone about publishing it anyway. i don't suppose it would do it any harm to have someone else read it.
