karaokejihad

ugh. had myself a party last night. me and a couple friends drove to wisconsin and bought beer. we stopped in a bar, had a pitcher then bought offsale. i try not to be a snob, but i'll just say it wasn't my kind of place. it was pretty funny to me when some rapper like nelly or ludacris came directly after randy travis on the jukebox.
when we came back we just hung out on a friends deck and drank beer. later on i fennagled a couple hits of weed, and one of my friends couldn't stop talking about how wasted i looked after that. well, i was, but that's why i was drinking in the first place.

today was a nice day. sunny, cool. lots of people out and about. i did a show at the park, it was this family teen rock band thing. they were actually pretty good, their dad was slightly annoying though. overbearing soccer mom type, really takes his kids fun seriously, y'know? that's fine, i guess. people are weird.

i've got several different parks that i can work at during school, which is cool, because looking for jobs sucks. working with kids is fun too, hopefully i can be a positive influence.

i need more books to read. i just finished 'one hundred years of solitude', really good book. what's your recommendation?
