Hello my lovelies. Went drumming last night at the local Pagan store. Dont know why the hell I didnt go sooner. Oh yeah now I remember, because I pretty much suck at drumming in a focused circle and I was afraid this was gonna be that but it was all freestyle drumming which is awesome. We all find our own rhythm that fits together. Danced a bit but I was waaaaaay to self conscious to do that too much.
How retarded is that. I can put nekid pics of myself up here and Im to self conscious to dance around a few strangers? I need to put things in perspective better. Anyway I had lots of FUN!! Today Im nursing the bottom joint of my thumb, that is oh so sore. I brought my Paul-y drum, it was made by an artisan in Arizona and it is a wooden drum with a wooden head so it is a lot harder on your hands than a standard hand drum. After playing my drum for the night I tried out another guys drum with a swordfish head and it felt like butter, so soft. Ok my thumb is hurting so Im gonna have to cut this journal short the banging on the space keep is getting to me.
No Socks today its gonna be pushing 90 here:

Ah, drums... I have had an inner drummer in me for years, but a severe lack of rhythm and coordination skills defeats him.
I WISH it were pushing at least 70 here... we won't get above 50 in Ohio
