OMFG!!!!! I had so much fun today at the Carolina Roller Girls practice. I got the basics and got to help referee a practice bout. So fucking awesome. I had a hard time not being a fan in moments when the jammers just scooted through the pack . Way awesome being so close to the action!!

However, I seriously have to brush up on my backwards skating. Holy shit I suck on quad skates. Ive only used my inline skates for a good many years. I did bust my ass once. Sweet Devi1Gir1666 helped me up off the floor and without laughing too hard. I was refing and was trying to keep from going into the ring when I lost my balance. Im sure I was graceful Muggan_Music suggested as much.

The hard part of being a ref is picking out the shoves that are actually fouls. God it was so awesome. I just hope I can whore up my Referees uniform. Now to nurse my somewhat sore throat.

But God Im so hooked and a daughter never made her mother so proud as when I told my mom about this.
