I may just leave for the beach early. Looking forward to a fun and relaxing weekend.
Tonight I go to the Carolina Rollergirls Volunteer Help Recruitment Meeting. Should be lots of fun. Hope to be able to support the local Roller Derby girls with something useful.
Today I colored my hair. Nothing special just tried to get the tips the same color as my roots. Have to do that every so often as the color in my hair oxidizes as it grows so the ends start to get really bleached out. Color matches great and all but it is still weird to look at. Im used to the hair I see out of the corner of my eyes being lighter than this. Now it is pretty much the same coffee bean color throughout. Id say mousey brown but I hate admitting I have mousy colored hair.
Kisses to everyone if I dont hear from you before I get back from the beach weekend trip with Araneda, Kriss, and Not_Tom. Envy us, cause we will be having such a wonderful time.

The volunteer stuff was totally awesome. All except one part. I got a great big You look old slap in the face at the end of the night.
I was talking to Devi1Gir1666 and one of the Carolina Roller Girls comes over and says to Devi1Gir1666 "This must be your mom."
Im not one to worry about my age or looking old but I guess there is a first time for everything. I know there is no way I hid the abject horror on my face. I could feel it there and couldn't even pull myself together enough to make it go away. Now it is funny; but last night I was mortified.
Other than that I signed on to be any kinda flunky the Carolina Roller Girls need me to be. I really wanna support them. It is a cool concept and all those ladies are Goddesses. Kitschy will make an awesome addition. Got to hang with her and Idjiit last night too.
I also decided to leave for the beach today. Ha ha ha ha you bitches, I'm gonna be at the beach for FOUR Days. Can't wait. Last night on the way home I stocked up on wine, margarita mix and bottled water along with snacks to munch on, at the beach. Plus I made a batch of peanut clusters. It will be a weekend of Eating, Drinking and general all around shenanigans. Can't wait to feel the sand between my toes, the wind in my hair and the surf around my ankles. Here is to hoping for a few good days of sun and nights of star gazing.
