This a a question that pertains to 6% of the population and Proposition 8 in California. OK, your here and you're queer, gay, homosexual, whatever I don't care.......really I don't care who or what you do or how you do it as long as you don't hurt (bdsm aside) anyone or violate someones civil or personal rights. My question is this- Why would you invite government into your personal (love) life if you don't have to? Taxes? Adoption? The equal rights issue? Mine other question since you are minority group and we know from history that once you get on a list.......especially a government list, you lose your anonymity. Look at the Jews in Nazi Germany, or even the Japanese in our own country during World War 2. So what's the big deal here?

Yep, we are at the height of the political season here in the good ole' U.S.A. and it looks like it has become very fashionable to bash Christians. Why is this??? No matter where you turn someone somewhere is saying negative things about other peoples personal beliefs. How soon we forget that our country's origins came from Judeo/Christian values and ethics. Yeah, the men that wrote these "rules" were of the most part Christians and had a deep sense of their spiritual undertones and realized that they were not perfect, but tried to create something bigger and better that the world had never seen before. Each man came from a different background and gave us the freedom of religion......not the freedom from religion. I am not a Christian (this might surprise some of you), and my personal beliefs shall remain in the shadows.
The funny thing is there is no one defending these people. If you bash someone of the Jewish faith.....The Jewish Defence League or some other organization will defend them. If you are Muslim; you have Council on American Islamic Relations. If you are American of African descent you have the NAACP. If your Gay, disabled, or an alien from outer space.......you have the ACLU. I got news for those of you who partake in this "new" and "fashionable" Christian Bashing.......you are wrong and just as bad or even worse than those to whom you point your finger at.

How much more do we have to take? How soon is November 4th? I am not a big McCain fan, but I cannot stand the bullshit that comes out of Obama's mouth? Since when is $250,000 make someone rich? Hell a million dollars isn't what it used to be now that we deal with Billions and Trillions of dollars. Makes me think of Dr. Evil in the Movie Austin Powers when he wanted to hold the world hostage for a million dollars and the world leaders laughed at him! OK, so the government goes ahead and taxes people that make $250,000+ at a much higher rate (remember Joe Biden said it was our patriotic duty to pay taxes........guess he never heard of the Boston Tea Party?) and they now have less to invest or if they own their own business have less money to expand or even meet their needs. Why is that giving people a free check (an additional $5000) like EIC (Earned Income Credit) for just squirting out a kid or 2 or 10 seems like a solution? I never saw a poor person give someone a job!!! This is trickle up poverty.......will it rain backwards? No, this doesn't work! Why don't we lower the corporate tax rates and create some more jobs here? With the fuel prices still high (and you never know when they will spike again); overseas logistics and shipping has gone up also. We have lost some jobs here, but jobs have also been created. Did you know that China has lost a million jobs since fuel prices started getting out of control? Yep, it cost too much to ship their crap when we can just make it here. You see a shipping container once cost about $2000 to ship over here. Now it costs $12000!!! Why pay the Chinese and the OPEC countries for shipping and fuel when we can make it here? Even the company I work for has stopped and shut down production in most of China. They are retooling here (even in my home town) and creating jobs. Why not invest in America? Lets not spread the wealth......let us create the wealth!!! I Believe Jesus said (remember I ain't no Christian) "Give a man a fish; he eats today. Teach a man to fish; he eats for a lifetime!"
Oh did you hear that Obama is Black? Being black or should I say half white has been a blessing for him. If he was white, Hispanic, Arab, or Asian; do you think a first term (really half term) junior Senator from Illinois would get any play or attention if he wasn't black? He has been playing the race card since he got into politics.
Let's take another look at who has endorsed him; Fidel Castro (great human rights record), Hugo Chavez of Venezuela (who wants to be just like Castro), The Iranian Parliament, The Taliban, The President of Syria, Hamas,and The American Communist Party. Oh let us not forget Odinga (his cousin) from Kenya who started all that tribal violence because he lost the presidential election! Thousands died!!!

I have a love affair with gasoline.......yep, I love gas!!! Gas is what makes my bike(s) run. What is so wrong with drill here and drill now? We have the technology to find oil faster, and to get it cleaner without damage to the environment. What is wrong with building new refineries? This will create new jobs! Ethanol is not the answer. Using ethanol drops your fuel mileage and kills performance. Believe me I am a gear-head! Also instead of looking for better fuel mileage.......we should look at making our vehicles have better performance. More bang for the buck so to speak. If you get better performance, and burn fuel better (have more efficiency); we don't have to worry so much about those silly emissions!!!

I just watched Expelled, a film by Ben Stein. You might remember him from Win Ben Steins Money, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, those 1000's of Visine commercials, or that is was speech writer and lawyer for President Nixon. Well in this movie he challenges Darwin's Theory of Evolution an brings to the forefront Intelligent Design and why is it scoffed at. I went to school once.......a long long time ago. When is it wrong to question a theory? Why is Intelligent Design (ID) always linked to creationism? If there is order in the universe what is wrong with thinking there is some sort of ID behind it? When was the last time you challenged your teacher or professor? Where is the intellectual freedom in not having a discussion about this possibility? I ask you rent this movie and make up your own mind........not so much on Darwinism or ID, but on questioning those in charge of our educational hierarchy!!! Remember, most of us pay for our secondary education and we should be able to see all sides of any argument!!!
