It has been almost 2 years since the mid term elections and the Democrat party has controlled congress.......
This is their energy policy?
Gasoline and Diesel has doubled since they took over and they pass laws about light bulbs (killer light bulbs at that!!)??? WTF!!! Now they want the White House??? Everybody is pissed at Georgie......but what has congress done??? What happened to the first 100 days where they were gonna make changes??? Do you realize how hard hit the transportation industry is........probably not, but I see it everyday. We need both long term and short term solutions........drill now and invest in other resources!!! 99% of the stuff you own was brought to you on a truck, train, or plane. The price of everything is about to go through the roof.......drill dammit!!! It doesn't take that long to get the oil out of the ground or the seabed. I keep hearing 10 years........bullshit!!! If you let the oil companies drill they can tap it in six months to a year without hurting any Caribou.......just ask the Canadians!!!! 
I also hear that we need change.......what kind of change??? Do these people that want change (like Obama) want to become socialist??? Just to let you know that the USA already has more social programs than any other country (to include any communist or socialist countries). For 200 plus years the USA has done one heck of a job in leading the world in things.....from medicine, industry, transportation, energy, agriculture, and way too many things to list. Californa has a bigger GNP (Gross National Product) than France!!! The USA has a GNP bigger than China, UK, France, Germany, and Russia combined!!! What is all this change stuff......I keep hearing change but all see is fluff!!!
If Obama and the Democrat congress is supposed to be the second coming......I will stick to the crusty old white guy! At least the old white guy will let capitalism and fair markets do the job!

Yeah, I know, only 3 more days till "J" comes back. My man, I like that!
You know, I said the 3 little words when I was drunk one night. I meant them... Said them again the next day, it felt good... It is a bit scary, though, how fast this is going, but it feels good, so why worry? I guess I'm just a worrying kinda girl.
Oh, the exercise thing. Well, I've given it up a few times, then I take it up again and it's so hard, so I give up again. But it's still more regular exercise than I've had for years, so I guess it's okay. My parent told me in May when I was home that I'd lost weight since March. So that's good.
Yeah, it did sound like part of a really bad and twisted joke, didn't it? lol
