Grrrrrrrrrr...

So, work was going really well... the assistant manager at the store I was training at told me that he was pretty sure they were going to transfer me to my own store soon... the other day our general manager came into the store, and the manager asked if I had time to talk to them real quick. We went into the office and told me that after 9 weeks, I wasn't displaying the leadership qualities that they were looking for, and that they had to let me go. I was stunned. I have been working my ass off there. I thought they were kidding (I asked if they were!)... they weren't. So... thats awesome. Last night I got a voicemail, it was from the assistant manager. He was saying that he had just heard and that he was super sorry, and thought I was doing fantastic, and that if I ever need a good reference, give them his number.
