I went along to the Magenta club night in Nottingham on Friday night.

from dead kennedys to the pet shop boys
but definately not steps! "
Sounds like a recipe for disaster but in fact it works remarkably well. The venue is a bit small, but then I guess you need to get a crowd coming along before you can go to a bigger place, so anyone in the area check it out. I think it's once a month, check the website.
