Ok I'm just gonna be a bitch and rant for a sec...
I'm honestly getting sick of a few things from hopefuls on the site so I'm gona put in my two scents.
As we all have said and many of you don't seem to understand DON'T SUBMIT your set if your "photographer" sucked. I think deep down inside you know if your set sucks...don't waste MR space when girls like myself have shot with a staff photographer and have a quality set to submit.
Now I'm not gonna say I'm hot shit...no I know I'm not. I was not skinny enough in my opinion for my last shoot...not that, that matters now since I'm pregnant and the theme and location are certainly not original but the fact the opportunity to shoot with Lorelei was kind of last minute I'm not gonna hate on myself for it. The set is a high quality set. Because of the set I shot I now know what I need to work on when I am ready to shoot again.
You are your harshest critic but I guess some of you may be blind because I am seeing no facial expressions and the worst excuses for themes in my life. So many of them have been overdone it's ridiculous. I know because of how many sets there are on this site you really have a hard time being original but look at what's going up as set of the day before you go shoot or post your set. If you have what you think is a great idea, look in MR, look in Set of the day's from that past... if your theme shows up and it's in either one ALOT then forget about it.
Just because I'm obsessed with Twilight and Robert Pattinson doesn't mean I'm gonna shoot a themed set with a book and a team edward shirt on with the first "photographer" that comes along. If you're gonna do such taboo sets as this then do it right. Be creative and make people think and wonder without being super obvious.
I've loved this site for so long and it's an honor to be a hopeful but it take the fun out when I see shitty sets in MR.
