So it has been a week now since i dislocated and broke my left shoulder. the emergencey room doc said that it also tore the muscles and tendons. (funny, cause i can't lift it without using my other arm, so he is obviously right) ...but the strange thing is i called the orthopedic specialist all last week to see about surgery. For the whole week i couldn't get them to give me an appointment at all. I realize it was Christmas yesterday, and i hope they had a nice holiday, but i am running outta pain pills and i want my damn arm fixed. Anyway, hope they had a merry christmas.
It is strange cause i have never had a limb that didn't work. takes some getting used to. definately a bit comical at times. turned the whole shoulder green, yellow, blue, black and purple. yeah, so i hope i can see the doc this week and finish doing whatever needs done to it. I guess to put it back in place the doc put his foot on my abdomen and grabbed the wrist and pulled till it popped. i guess, cause i was so drugged up that i was telling everyone how much i loved them and what a great job they were all doing (at least that was all anyone would tell me i said, knowing me i said more though).
so, anyway... i hope i either still have a job when all of this is over or find a better one.
either way it has actually been kinda cool, definately a different experience. of course i wouldn't suggest breaking any joints (pardon the pun, like your shoulder) to any of you, just maybe a major bone or something.

Thanks for saying hi. Actually neither one of ya will remember, but I met you and shagz at a burlesque show at drink a long while ago. Apokk only introduced me to a few people that night so I remember several of them. Anyway, he finally got me to join up.
