Son, someday you will make a girl incredibly uncomfortable by giving her the respect she deserves, rather than what she expects. More damningly, you will expect the same in return. But in the end, everyone will be satrisfied, as she will find people who treat her accordingly, these people are called 'musicians'.

I like your blog and I plan to read the whole thing, in instalments, as I don't read quite as fast as you do. Tricky thing being better than other people and if you can really pull it off you have a rare sense of self and presence of mind. One can have abilities and insight that exceed that of those of around oneself but to really be better than them takes a certain ineffable grace, synthesizing a collection of traits into someting more than just a bunch of stuff.

The caged bird doesn't fly because it's never learned to think for itself, which is both a starightorward and maddeningly elusive thing to get a grasp of.
