Conditional love is a flawed endeavor, and is by nature more prone to heartbreak. Mind you, it's easier to come by. You love someone only because of a certain thing they do... when that thing stops or changes, so does your love for them. Sure, there's something to be said for statements like "I love the way she goes down on me" but the conditional thing tends to be short-lived.

Unconditional - you love something or someone without the expectation or requirement of something in return. It's not so much a matter of desperation as much as it is a matter of having low expectations. You opt to give of your emotions freely, without being concerned or tied to some expectation that may or may not be met. If you just love that girl and end the sentence right there, well for some reason I can't explain it's just that much more magical and special when she goes down on you the way she does.
