Hi guys!

How are you doing?

I want to start this blog thanking everybody who left so much love in my latest set featuring @ravenland! We were just selected as SOTD and our set will be in the FP soon!

You guys rock my world!

Today I'm here to share some pics of my trip to Japan. I stayed in Japan for 30 days, so I have more photos than I can handle, most of them are still in my phone without backup, my phone's camera roll is a mess, but I selected a few photos that I liked.

I went to 3 main states while there: Tokyo, Osaka and Nagano.

First I arrived in Tokyo and stayed there for 5 days before heading to Osaka, where I stayed for 10 days. We based ourselves and from there we visited nearby cities like: Nara, Hiroshima, Nagoya and Kyoto.

After Osaka we went to my mother's town, in a rural area of Nagano state. It was so peaceful and relaxing after the craziness of Tokyo and Osaka!

In my mom's town we biked around rice plantations and tiny roads alongside mountains with white snowy tops - It was beautiful, I loved those lazy days so much!

After that we came back to Tokyo for a few days before travelling back home. I was so tired by the end of the trip I hardly enjoyed the last days. I discovered that I don't have energy to stay away from home - and my pets - for more than 15 to 20 days. I should have imagined as I'm a textbook introvert who gets easily exhausted by too much stimuli.

Enough of babbling! Here are the pics (in no particular order).

These lanterns are part of the Borderless expo at Tokyo's Digital Art Museum, it was crowded and so busy, we stayed as long as we could and tried to enter all the rooms, but it was impossible. I think we stayed for a couple of hours and saw maybe half of the expo.

These I took at a shrine dedicated to celebrate and bring fertility - there were loads of dicks shaped things!

Cute little deers at Nara Park!

The hall, which became known as the A-bomb dome at Hiroshima, near the ground zero.
Going to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum was really tough. The stories and images there are really gruesome and devastating. It broke my heart that we as humankind went so far to hurt our equals.

I hope that we always preserve history, we need it to remind us where we came from - the good parts but also the worst about our past as humankind.

Look at those undercover traffic cones! I love how extra Japan is! These pics were taken in Kyoto... I think.

One ice cream a day keeps the doctor away!

Unagi teriyaki - Freshwater eel with teriyaki sauce - delicious!

Three types of tuna cut - lean, medium fat and super fat and creamy! Plenty of wasabi and soy sauce - deliciousness!

Freshly made Guyoza and Takoyaki - Octopus Balls is Osaka's most popular dish. Is a pancake-like batter but salty, with scallions, octopus and ginger filling, topped with mayo, sweet soy sauce and fish flakes! Yummy!

While in Osaka we were able to catch a gig at Club Quattro. We watched Explosions in the Sky and it was insanely beautiful! I had never seen an instrumental show before and they rocked!

Best sushi I've ever had in my life for sure! Tried sea urchin for the first time and really liked!

Every alley we passed were so charming, at daylight too but at night it was magical (and a bit dystopian as in Blade Runner)!

SOBA!

Every evening the sunset were incredible, always a shade of pink, purple and blue. I felt like the sun went down slower there, is that possible?

GOJIRAAAAAA! RAWWWWRRR!

Lamen, the most eaten dish of the trip!

That's all I have to share!

Thanks for all the love and support for my work! I hope you like the blogs I'm making lately, as I really enjoy writing them. Is good for me to practice my english and also open up a bit. I love our little corner of the internet!

Until next time, take care!

xoxo,

;)
