Worst day ever. I know that somehow the day could get worse right now but untill I take my boots off and get some sleep, getting pick pocketed and losing my wallet on the Moscow metro is the worst it can possibly get.
I have friends here and my passport to get back on saturday but I need some words of encouragement to get me through this week and maybe somehow see a positive side to Moscow...

I am so proud and pleased you have been able to travel and have so many cool adventures this year- do you think that you have gained a lot from your travels (of course I imagine you have- unless you are a robot!) but I often wonder what you have gained? Spiritual enlightenment or even just the art of being able to spot a good place to sit on a train.. I felt like when I started to travel around the UK I gained a strange understanding of how to pack a bag lightly
