Today I went to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, there I met up with Shuttersounds. She's such a sweetie and was quite lovely to take photos with all day. She even gave me her battery to borrow when mine died! and by borrow I mean accidently steal because I never remembered to give it back. Seriously though who expects me to remember that shit when there's a cute girl in front of me?!



So we ran around with cameras taking tons of pictures. The cherry blossoms were in bloom but I've seen them before and they weren't really a big thing to me. Kind of boring infact. There were a whole lot of people there because of them too including like 18 billion school kids. Which I have to admit was a bit annoying.



But there were plenty of other flowers to photograph. I've been trying to get back into my photography and this helped a bit. We spend a lot of time hanging around the Koi pond like I always do. and I got to see a baby duckling! But I have a rather low zoom lens so I couldn't grab a good photo unless I could use my amazing kai attraction powers to lure him closer. But he was to focused on running around the pond looking for his brothers. but I did get a pretty rad picture of some koi.



All and all it was a good day, I just need to continue my search back into my creative side. I've lost it a bit since I've dropped out.
