have ya ever read shelter stories?

they are heart breaking!!!!!! today i read sundays and the first image was a woman throwing her kitty out the door....then the kitty had to wander about for food and shelter......then got taken to the pound and was lonely and scared and tehn someone adopted the kitty and it was all ok.

but its not all ok.the shelter where i get my kids from has a wall of memories kind of thing. its a fence where they hang a collar for every fifty animals or something that they have to put down.

theres alot of leashes on that fence.

when i got my kitty my mom told me she wouldnt loan me the money cause she said i cant have a big cat (i cant have animals where i live, so they stay with her and i pay child support) and she made me leave the shelter with my sweet giant orange meow meow still locked away in his cold steel prison. i told him id come back...

and in the car back to myplace i had this naggin at my head and it kept telling me to try again try again....and i knew id regret it if i didnt try and take my kitty out and i asked her, begged her to go back an thank god she did.

she admits if we hadnt gotten him she thinks they would have killed him.

his name is diesel vanwinkle and he purrs like adiesel truck and hes super duper friendly and cute and sweeet and i just love him.

will you go adopt a friend from the shelter next time you want an animal????

haha...im changing my faves again.today im adding cinder cause she tried to save a baby kitten!!!! thats a good way to win my heart.
