so a few months ago i met an incredibly beautifull, intresting and fun young man. after a summers worth of flirting and missed oppertunities, we finally started to hang out. now, he really is amazing, and quite fascinating. we have NOTHING in common. and it attracted me to him in a way, because i could learn so much.


then i found out why i stick to my own sort. he looked at me like i was daft because i read hplovecraft and enjoy any sort of horror flick, as apposed to his mythological sort and historical films. he pushes me too much. he wants time i dont have. he wants me, he says. and he wants me to be happy, he says live life and be you.

and he thinks im too busy, becuase ALL my time is dedicated to the shop. because my world revolves around my art, the shop and getting into school.. because i spend so much time and money on art supplies, making art, art books. he seems to think its all wrong.


and its wrong that it makes me happy. he doesnt understand it.


im going to have to tell him good bye.

and today an suv rolled across from its parking spot, backwards, and wedged itself up against a lamp post. no damage done, but wouldnt it freak you thefuck out to walk out of the store and see your vehicle rollled 30 feet away from where you parked it??

it makes me happy because he illustrated for DC comics for awhile. id tell ya where you could find his art but im not in the know on that stuff. but its amazing. if i find out ill list it for ya. and well, hes also very good at portraits. (the mans good at all art...) and im rather flatterd to see that hes guiding me on a path like his own. he is, after all, my mentor, inspiration and someone i look up to.
