damn...colleen leaves in a few days....i feel like she just got here 
we went to the Komaki Grand Hotel's onsen(hot spring) the other night and actually found the rotenburo(open air bath), the one outside! It was dark out and the pool was small. i was afraid that it would be fucking freezing cuz its outside in the snow, but it felt so good! it even snowed for a few minutes :3 we even stood up a couple times just to cool off, and the cold air felt really good. it was so pretty. there was a really big pond inches away from the little pool we were sitting in, and there was a waterfall with lights pointed at it so it was lit up really nice, on the far side of the pond. the onsen we were sitting in was natural looking, like a small pond with a big rock sticking out of the middle of it. the ones inside are really big. a lot of different pools in one big room, all stone, boulders, trees and another waterfall that you can sit under. that feels really good when you have a sore back. but of course the men are separated from the women cuz everyone is naked. you bring your own shower stuff, get undressed in the locker room, enter where all the pools are, pick one of the small showers, sit down on the little stool, shower, and then get in the water! sounds really weird i know. and i cant believe i just went into all that detail! ill have to post some pics.......
