It's probably not a good sign when the only time you're getting sleep most days is when you're taking leftover nighttime cold and flu medicine. I just can't get there most nights. I'm sure there are better and less ridiculous remedies, but I'm lazy and use what's on hand when I finally get fed up with it.
Nothing going on except more disillusionment with work and finally making some weekend plans that will get me out of the house to see the new Tarantino movie and District 9 with a friend. Maybe some Metalocalypse or some Deadliest Catch on DVR and some good food thrown in.
Still haven't decided if I want to try and get to Chapel Hill when I'm on vacation next month. If not, there's always a week in October and another in December if I can make them work...but I do feel a need to get away from this place and its populace for a while. The sooner the better.
