Walked into the office this afternoon and was told a project I'd started - and nearly completed - Saturday evening was accidentally deleted by another department earlier in the day. None too pleased. At least it was a small project and the materials were still on hand.
When I left shortly after 1 a.m. - after doing that project all over again - a hunchbacked old man with a cane was slowly hobbling his way across the parking lot of the bank next door. Then he slowly hobbled across our downtown street, which is completely dead of traffic that time of night.
I had to wonder why he was out at that hour. Such a strange silhouette in the night.
