Finally scheduled my vacation time for the year - one week in September, another in October and the last in December. I have absolutely no idea if I want to go anywhere during any of that - or where I'd go if I did. Perhaps Chapel Hill to see a friend who doesn't get back this way that often. I don't know.
Nothing really going on at the moment, other than my living in a bit of a haze where all I do is work and sleep. And play a lot of Fallout 3. It's funny how easy it is to get lost in such a miserable setting. Not to mention how funny it is that a misanthropic cynic turns into a complete white knight there.
I don't have it in me to play evil.
Also finished up Gaiman's Sandman books. Quite lovely. I think Seasons of Mist and Brief Lives were my favorites. And, in terms of characters, Matthew, Delirium and Death. The last goes without saying. The Grim Reaper never looked so great.
