Three day weekend for me (yesterday, today and tomorrow) for reasons I don't feel like explaining or even care to understand myself. I'll just call it an extra vacation day since I'm not there but getting paid.
Time to catch up on some gaming, catch up on some much needed sleep, let the cat follow me all over the house and maybe call up some friends I haven't seen since I started working nights. This shift was so much easier when I working it 10 years ago and we were all in our early 20s and saw each other because no one ever slept and everyone was single.

Speaking of the cat, she's sleeping on my feet at the moment. She never leaves me alone from the time I enter the house to the time I leave. Room to room, hour by hour. I thought cats were supposed to be aloof, but she's as devoted as the dog I had all through my childhood. She's the woman of the house. Heaven help anyone who dares threaten her role.
