It was down in the 20s yesterday. Today it's up in the 60s and it should be up in the 70s when I go to see Watchmen on Saturday. Maybe spring is finally arriving here in the east. Can't happen soon enough, I say.

I am feeling a bit blase at the moment, despite the sunshine and the warmer temperatures. I don't really have an appetite either, but I'm not depressed. Just kind of indifferent and passive.

The neighbors are having their roof replaces, which will probably get old soon since I don't like noise and like having strangers wandering around even less. Seeing as how I replaced mine just a couple years ago though, I don't really have any room to complain. It's just one of those things about living in the civilized world, for however much I actually participate in it.

So back to reading Don DeLillo novels and trading emails with old girlfriends. Girlfriends in the platonic sense, though it didn't always have to be that way with one. I sometimes think I didn't give that opportunity enough consideration and was too lost in one of my self-loathing, "you can do better than me" trips when it came up. Live and learn, I guess. Live alone and learn.

Yeah, I can see that. Most of the reviews have said multiple viewings are necessary. Which just makes sense, I've read it three times in the last year and I still find new things about it I missed before.

Color me confused brown, but I think necessary multi-screenings should be required for any movie, much less a Watchmen movie.
