I just spent the last few hours watching the first five episodes of the first season of Breaking Bad at a friend's apartment. I watched them when they first aired (they came out on DVD today) and loved them then...and I think I love them even more now. Such an amazingly well-crafted show. Dark, humorous, sometimes morbid and sometimes poignant. Bryan Cranston is amazing. It's light years beyond anything I'd expect from the dad from Malcolm in the Middle. There are only seven episodes in the season, but it's well worth a watch if you get the chance. The new season starts in March.

Other than all I've been doing is listening to Devo and Kevin Smith's podcast. A lazy day of nothing but entertainment.
