I really should stop keeping my house like it's a frigging meatlocker. It makes sense in the summer, when it's hot and miserable outside, but it's damn annoying this time of year. Other than at night, when the cat stretches out up against me and acts as a heating blanket all night long.
Then again I hid under the covers and slept all day. I'd say something more interesting if I could, but that's the reality of today. Sleep and some Grand Theft Auto IV. I did call off work yesterday, but that was mostly because of a bad case of the blahs. I just can't get excited about anything right now.
My friend Carissa and I have been talking more than we have in a long while though. Our closest days were hard times, which I think has prompted a bit of distance for us both since. Memories and all that. But it's nice talking with an old friend who understands at least part of me.
