Not much to say this week. The weather has finally turned cold after our prolonged Indian Summer and, really, it's struck back with a vengeance. Cold winds, temperatures that lower every day, snow and ice, the whole deal...

I always say I prefer the autumn/winter cold to the heat of summer because it's easier and more comfortable to bundle up and get warm (I like wearing layers anyway) than it is to strip down and get cool, but I fucking hate those seasons as well. Give me year round spring and I'd be content.

For the last few years, at least, this time of year hasn't been the Season of Misery it used to be for me, but this year feels closer to how things were back then. Even in my happier moments I still feel (and come off as) glum. And I've been having weird dreams about a girl I'm not that close with anymore.

A feeling of "missed opportunity" pops up every once in a while. I try to ignore it.

I'm generally content being a hermit, but I've been dug in deep for so long now I'm not sure I'll remember how to climb back out of the bunker whenever I finally choose to do so.
