The soundtrack for the last couple days has been a mix of my freshly dug up Rage Against The Machine CDs, Savage Love podcasts and Final Fantasy soundtracks. With such left-leaning geekery playing in the background it's no wonder I look at most my red state neighbors like they're total fucking aliens.
I'd like to convince myself it will be worth going out and voting for Obama in November, but I already know which way West Virginia is going to swing, so it will probably be all I can do to get out of bed in the morning or not come straight home from work and fall into a sadness coma.
My boss is convinced Obama has the general election wrapped up vs. Grandpa Munster, but I swear you can't put anything past a populace stupid enough to elect George W. Bush to a second term.
I guess I'm in a Mencken kind of mood at the moment.
