Ok, yesterday was tough. Trying to perform stand up comedy outdoors. In front of the restaurant I will cooperate with. Because of the rain and that we had a festival going on just 30 meters away, most people just passed by without stopping to listen. I ran 3-sets with about 5 minutes of material. In the late evening, after struggling trough 2 sets with a minimum of audience and respons, I changed tactics. On the spot, I wrote a few oneliners and then I just waited till an crowd passed by and tested the oneliners. Some went well.

I had an audience later and I ran even more oneliners on them and the slipped into my planned routine. But most of the night was hard.

Working in comedy isn't always fun...
