Weekends away

I had the opportunity to go to New York this past weekend for the first time ever. I initially wasn't sure if I was brave enough to go by myself but couldn't pass that up.

Friday night I stayed in the lower east side, wandered around by myself, found my first slice of NY pizza then had a few drinks and took a cab to Brooklyn. Going over the Williamsburg bridge felt kind of surreal to me. I slept for maybe 2 hours then spent Saturday afternoon walking to Union Square, The Chrysler and Empire State Buildings. I spent that night in the amazing Ace hotel and was too tired and cozy to even leave my room. Waking up at 6am to make the Washington>Chicago>Calgary connections felt pretty horrible. The trip went by way too fast but I know I'll be back. What are your NY reccommendations?

I've not any recommendations but that sounds like something I'd want to do. Sometimes it's nice to explore by yourself. Solo adventures.

I moved out of NYC for 6 months once and couldn't stand CO so I went to AZ hated it more.  Also The only other place other then NYC I can handle PPizza wise is Italy.  There were so many good parties and Club events that me othd other groups have with so much international talent.   You should def hit up some clubs next time.
