Well, I finally moved this last weekend to South Tampa. 
It's quite a different atmosphere down here. The neighborhood is really nice. My roomate and I can walk to all the shops and restaurants/ pubs around the corner. A couple of them have pretty good food. It's a nice, safe neighbor hood where we can walk to the pub at night and not worry about anything happening to us. You can always tell a neighborhood based on the cars parked at all the houses and so far I see mostly Jags, Beemers and Mercedes. We got really lucky because most of the houses and townhomes in this neighborhood go for 250K to 400K. Our building is really old and has it's problems, so it's cheap ($925 for a 2BD/1BA that's about 950 sq. ft.)
We had quite a few maintenance issues when we first moved in because it is an old building (spanish style build in the '40's (I think)...so it was to be expected. Our property manager is super nice and quick with responding to our calls. ....did I mention he is really cute too. I may just have him come out for minor things just to get him to come over more often, hehe
It's really different living with someone again after a long time being alone. This is my first time having a girl roomate since the only 2 roommates I ever had were boyfriends. She's cool though and we have our own different schedules which works out nice. She's really into her classes so she's on her computer alot in her room and I'm a lazy couch potato
so I watch tv in the living room. I'm planning on getting a better flat panel tv for the living room and move the other tv in my room so we can watch our own things.
So, that's what's new with me. I have to run some errands but maybe I will have pics to post later.
