Yep.. still sick.
So, I got semi-"promoted" to waitress because my aunt can't afford to keep me on as a register girl and, I think, is also trying to get rid of one of the other waitresses as well. Let's see, I went from making $5/hour to making $2.25/hour plus tips.. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. I made more last night than I used to get paid every day, but it feels weird. Plus, I won't be able to work any of the lunch rushes throughout the week because of my school schedule.
Soo, I'm more than likely going to look for a job elsewhere and possibly just wait tables at the diner this summer, when my schedule is open for a full-time work schedule.
School has started off really well. I'm liking all of my classes, and I know 3 of my 4 professors already. I've had two of them in classes before, and one is my adviser - haha! I think that gives me an edge.. or an unfair advantage. Either way, I'm kicking ass this semester. Yessir.
Also, it's FREEZING BALLS outside. I hate it.. I have no winter clothes and can't afford to buy some, lol. I think I own a total of two long-sleeved shirts, so I'm having to wear ridiculous amounts of layers to and from class.. If it weren't so damn windy, I could survive but, alas, this is Oklahoma after all.
Anyway, I'm doing better than I was a few weeks ago - or even last week, for that matter. Things are on the up and up!
