Long day, woke up at 5 this morning to go over and meet my mom to take my little sister (4) to get her tonsils out. We waited for forever, then she ended up being in surgery for around 30 minutes. She was so pitiful and hurting when she came back out of surgery. 
I shed a few sympathy tears for the poor little thing. She was still crabby when I went by my mom's after work tonight.
I'm going to take it easy tonight. I have no plans for New Year's. :/ I'm kind of depressed about the outlook of the next two or three months. I'm really lonely nowadays, won't have anyone to share New Year's Eve with, or Valentine's Day, or even my birthday. I'm just bummed out.. I thought this year was going to be different.
Anyway, I'm kicking back, finally getting to watch Purple Rain because I've gotten my TV, DVD player/VCR set up so I can watch movies and be on my laptop simultaneously.
I went and picked up some beer from my sister's house, sippin' on some Pabst (call me hipster, don't care).
I'll be around tonight for quite a while because I don't work tomorrow.
