The cooler weather has helped. There's still fires but they're more so under control now. The outta control ones are on the other side of the state now, and I have no personal connection to the west. My pony, alas is still missing. No one has found her yet, so I'm (gladly) assuming someone picked her up and is keeping her. She's a stunning looking horse and an amazing show pony, so I can totally see it happening. I'm looking at a new horse next week. Which makes me bitter sweet sad. Melody was amazing and I had her for near 10 years. But I hope she has a nice new home, and I'm glad who ever has her took her. And now I get a new youngen to train. Hopefully.
