whew! the bike is finally running great. it took some blood and some burns but damn it, it's going. i've lost most of my winter fat working on that thing instead of sitting online all night after work. now i have to work on that beer fat. i sound like a woman 
my mentor/harley buddy had some shitty news about his wife. they found that her cancer came back after only two years. there we were at work in our welding leathers, talking about his new tattoo (picture the typical 45 year old harley guy) then from no where he tells us this. he was really upset, enough to start crying right there. it was a bit of an eye opener to say the least. i'm thankful for what i have and grateful for what i don't have.
on a lighter note... i'm going to oregon in 1 week!! kick ass! i've never been on a plane before. i hope i don't die.
