So I just booked a room in Vegas for the Bikefest (12th-14th of this month). I can't even remember the last time I was out there (though that may be a good thing) so this is beyond overdue...it's necessary. It'll be nice to see some of "the gang" out there.

The hours at work are getting fewer and fewer and I'm finally starting to sell all of my junk. Ebay loves me right now.
The much more tangible indication that I'm getting closer to living life is my new Tilley hat...true explorer stuff, that.

I used to skateboard all the time, but then the futility of constantly trying to perform insane trick after insane trick to try to keep up with the current skatepunks who were my friends finally caught up to me. Just rollin' on thru the blacktop with my hands in my pockets and the wind on me has become much much more fun.

These new skatepunk kids are soft anyways. Gimme those late 70s early 80s thrashers. They knew how to rock.
