wow. so my vacation has finally begun. i havent felt more optimistic in recent memory. jesus, i swear its sad but true. went and saw kasabian last night at slims. they were excellent. very cool band, and cool guys. the music was headlining, but i just wasnt feelin it. they kind of bore me. really nice group of guys and good musicians too. (theyre only like 20/21 years old).

afterwards went over to the rickshaw stop to meet up with some friends. there were so many effin people there i hadnt seen in forever it was silly. people i didnt even know were in the city were out. anyway, who really cares right? it was a quality night on the road.

today is ellout-buyout. time to go pick me up some clothes. go cash my tax return -- FINALLY! and run some errands. today is beautiful and i feel like having a picnic and listening to music all day.

tuesday i fly out to austin for SXSW. its probably my favorite time of the year. the optimism of spring. the excitment of travel. the fun of seeing friends from all over the world coverge in one city all during the same week. many many many great bands contributing to the lives of others. its gonna be wild. maybe ill try and keep some sort of picture journal while im there or something. it probably wont happen though because im lazy. ill end up with a shitload of rad pictures that sit on my computer for only me to see. alas...
