this has been a rough week. one of my best friends just had surgery to remove a cancerous kidney yesterday. shes doing alright, it just bums me out that theres people out there (particularly those close to me) that have to deal with such amazing amounts of stress and fear. she does more than an amazing job being courageous and i think it makes her family and friends around her more at ease with such a difficult time. she is a very special person and im more than proud to call her my friend. not everyone would be as strong as she is. i wish my life could slow down some so i could be with her. i feel so guilty sometimes for not being able to give 100% to those i truly care about. anyway, just kind of a tidbit of whats going on in my head.
