Lately I've been spending a lot of time doing indoor rock climbing and I've swiftly developed a love for it. So much so that I'm looking to get a full year membership to this local gym at the end of the month. I've got a climbing buddy there who's easily above me in skill (and also reach as she's 3-4 inches taller than me) who's been 'showing me the ropes' so to speak and it's been awesome. Also it's been beneficial to have a female presence in my life, non romantic though it may be.

I picked up all the basic gear I need for indoor climbs: Tight and tiny shoes, Cozy hugging harness, A caribiner and belay device, and a chalk bag full of chalk.

Other things going on? Well, I'm doing better in general, I think. I'm considering joining in the Shamrock Run 15k again this year. I ran it in 2011 and boy was I hurting afterwards. If I plan to do it I'll ideally have to start my general training right now for the run on March 16th. Also, I suppose I'd have to wonder a bit on why I'd be doing it. It'd be something that would be just for me but is it something that I in some way *need* to do? I don't know... What's my motivation, right?

Other things, so I have a female friend who I don't see very often and we got to hang out Sunday. We had fun, got some Thai food and hung around and watched The Jerk. It was very nice.

After watching the movie and talking she mentioned that we should be sex buddies. We've slept together before but I just don't know if I'm ready for it yet, y'know? I told her we'd both have to mull it over until at least next weekend to see how we feel about it then. She just got out of a relationship too and, as she know, she has a tendency to jump into bed too quickly to try to get over things. I haven't had sex since May, the longest break in sexual activity I've had in many a moon. I miss female physical contact and got damn to I miss giving cunnilingus (i love it SO much!). Sure, I think it'd be better with someone I've already been with than searching for someone new right now. I dunno...

Life be crazy, y'know?

I still hate my job but at least I've found a hobby in rock climbing to keep myself busy and get some exercise while I'm at it. Also my older brother may be moving to town which would mean that both of my brothers will be living here. Also apparently my young cousin may move here to go to school at Reed as well. Weird. I was here first! Sheesh.
